Due to an article in today's issue of Swiss newspaper "Motorsport aktuell", the French racing driver Emmanuel Collard will probably sign a F1-Testing contract with Alain Prost. Collard has no job at the moment, but was a test driver for five Formula 1-Teams, so he's skilled, although he has not yet driven in a F1-race. He should test the new Peugeot engines in the actual Prost JS45 for the 1998 season.

At the same time, Jacques Villeneuve extended his contract with Williams for a further year until end 1998, so, the rumours, that Villeneuve could be a possible driver for Team Prost next year are proved untrue - To be honest: I never believed to this rumour, that's the reason, that you can't find anything about it on my homepage...

But it also seems, that Jean Alesi is a possible driver for Team Prost in the future...
