What I already wrote in the news of 2^nd February 1997 came true: Bernard Dudot, who is responsible for Renault in Formula 1 will join Team Prost Grand Prix as Technical Director in 1998. Bernard Dudot is one of the most important people behind those many victories and the F1-Worldchampionships won by Renault-engines, which are dropping out of Formula one at the end of this season. And he is a good friend of Alain for years.

Alain also said on French TV, that he will probably test his first "real" Prost next January. Well, it will not really be a "test", but he said, that he will drive two or three laps just for fun.
