As I wrote in the news of 21^st October 1998, Jarno Trulli will drive the new AP01B in Suzuka. The AP01B is a hybrid car with the latest version of the Peugeot engine and a totally new gearbox. Alain decided to use the AP01B in Suzuka short time before the departure of the cars to Japan. The use of the AP01B at the last Grand Prix of this season should not only help to perform better in Japan, it should also help to get some input to optimise the AP02, which will be used next season...
