Alain has been testing a Maserati MC12 in Fiorano on Tuesday (May 4, 2004) and today, May 5, 2004! The Maserati MC12 will be participating in the FIA GT championship by the end of the season.
After driving some laps on the private Ferrari test track on Tuesday, Alain said: "I was in Maranello to visit my friend Jean Todt and I jumped at the chance to try the car! - It was a moving moment to meet people again with whom I have shared unforgettable moments." Today Wednesday, Alain drove a few laps again. He said: "It is always an interesting experience to drive cars of different types. Yesterday the track was wet nearly all the time, so given that the weather had improved slightly, I was keen to also try the Maserati in the dry." Alain might even be racing in FIA-GT series anytime soon. There are rumours since a long time that Alain would be participating in the FIA-GT championship 2005 with the ORECA Team... ALLEZ ALAIN!
